I've had a lot of pizzas in my day, love pizza, watch pizza, and make my own Neapolitan pizzas. These pizzas had a lot of hype and they still were better than I expected, probably one of the best if not the best pizza I've ever had. Perfect ratio of cheese, sauce and meat. Super thin interior crust and really tasty outer crust. You can definitely tell they ferment their dough, and the crust is very flavorful, crispy, and bouncy. Will definitely come here again and again! Had to plan ahead a little for pickup, but service was right on time and it was totally worth it.

I have said this before and I will say it again. This pizza is freaking awesome. It is perfect every single time. I have settled on the pepperoni and Calabrian pepper pizza as my "go to" pie. Trust me ... my leftover Bird pizza in the morning is my favorite breakfast as well. If I could rate any one business higher than 5 stars it would be Nkem and his team at Bird. They are the BEST!

This is THE BEST pizza you'll find in Charlotte, coming from someone who has lived here for 28 years and who grew up spending summers and winters in New Haven CT eating coal-fired pizza (the best). So I pride myself on knowing good pizza. The red sauce has great flavor, the crust is crispy yet chewy, the pie is perfectly thin...what more could you want?! My favorite ways to order: - Plain Pizza (tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil) + add Peperoni and Hot Honey - Plain Pizza (tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil) Did you see Bird Pizza in Charlotte was just featured in The New York Times' "22 of the Best Pizza Places in the United States" article?! I've been shouting it from the rooftops that I think it's the best pizza in Charlotte ever since tasting it for myself earlier this year! I cannot wait to see what the sit down concept looks like.

Limited Menu but I was able finagle two pizza with my visiting Niece. One red and one white, both were Fire!!!

My husband and I went for the first time to the temporary set up and had a mishap when attempting to order from the QR code while standing in the sweltering heat. It was worth the wait! The Owners were so gracious and got us taken care of in the end. The pizza is nothing short of magical. Best we've ever had and we aren't spring chickens! LOL! I am so happy we discovered Bird Pizzeria and will spread the word along with providing all of our support for what I hope to be many years to come! Gregg and Kem A.

Sausage+Arugula Pizza: 4/5 - Good flavors. Crust was a bit floppy. (Long wait even with ordering ahead.) RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Definitely getting this again) 4 - Good (Would get it again) 3 - Ok (Might give it another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

I am so happy that Bird is open and expanding! It is going strong and consistently. The food, service, and, soon, dining ambiance are genuinely unique. Hoping that the toppings expand to chicken, prosciutto, and other meats. Yes, there are veggie options (and vegan!) I was vegan for years, but then my three y/o niece gave me a cookie, and welp..., However, I digress :-) My go-to is Pepperoni and Sausage with Red Sauce, Onions, Garlic, Arugula, and hot honey on the side. Order on the Bird Pizzeria app. Not chancing a walk-in, as I am reserving my luck for the Powerball :-)

Upon arrival to Charlotte, my travel group and I were provided with a delivery from Bird Pizzeria which exceeded our expectations. We had a variety of pizzas, with a range of different toppings and yes, I tried them all and was not disappointed! Lol. The Kale Caesar salad was so good, and the group kept providing compliments on the quality of the food. We also learned a little bit about the business which is led by a husband wife team with roots from the Midwest. Definitely a must try!
